10 Careers Tren in 2010
A Career Consulting company surveyed more than 2,700 managers and HR professionals across the country the U.S. and from all industries. The result is 10 trends that are expected happen in the work environment in the year 2010 :
1. Replace low-performing employees. The entrepreneurs take advantage of the large number of top talents in the collection of existing workers to strengthen their work force. Thirty-seven percent of entrepreneurs said that they planned to replace low-performing employees with workers’ higher performance in the year 2010. When asked what is the level of their workers the power unit, 25 percent gave rating “A,” 60 percent gave a “B,” 15 percent “C,” and 1 percent “D.” Less than half a per cent felt that their existing staff is a failure.
2. Emphasis on social media to strengthen the brand. Economy requires companies to make important decisions for their businesses, which gives them a negative impact on their brands. Nearly 37 percent of employers plan to emphasize even more on social media in 2010 to create a brand that is more positive again for their organization. One in five employers plan to add a social responsibility of media to an existing worker, where nearly 8 percent planned to hire a new full-or part focuses on social media.
3. Hire back workers who are laid off. Companies need to consider their business in the market last year and four-of-ten entrepreneurs said that they were forced to lay off some workers. From among those laid off in the year 2009, twenty-two percent of employers plan to bring back their workers with two-thirds either do it from immediately or in the first 6 months of the year 2010.
4. Flexible work arrangements. The companies plan to continue to provide workers with greater flexibility in the hope of managing work-life balance better. Fifty-five percent of entrepreneurs said that they planned to provide working arrangements more flexible in the year 2010. These arrangements include:
• More work schedules (come early and leave early or come home for longer and longer) - 73 percent.
• The option to work from home - 41 percent.
• compressed working time (working with the same amount of time, but fewer working days) - 32 percent.
• Working hours in the summer (Summer hours, red) - 18 percent
• Share the work (Job-sharing, red) - 13 percent
• When the sabbath (Sabbaticals, red) - 6 percent
5. Allowances and benefits cut. Even as companies are seeing the new year and the opportunities to grow their businesses, many still choose to cut allowances and benefits. Thirty-seven of the employers said they would cut benefits and benefits in the year 2010, up from 32 percent who said the same thing in 2009. Which would be cut by them, including bonuses, medical expenses, pending matching pension and benefit costs such as office coffee, tea, and spices.
6. Rehired retirees and retirees delay. These companies understand the intellectual value of adult workers they bring into the organization and 27 percent say they are open to retain their workers are approaching retirement.
7. Hiring freelance or contract. While most employers still plan to be careful in relation to the number of full-time workers they added in the new year, many will turn to freelance or contract workers to keep their businesses moving forward. Three out of ten employers anticipate hiring freelancers or contract workers in the year 2010, up smoothly from 28 percent in 2009 last year. Six percent plan to hire more freelance or contract workers than last year, of which 15 percent will hire the same amount and 10 percent plan to hire fewer.
10 Workplace Trends 20,108. Green Jobs. Most employers will continue to pay attention to their environment in this new year. Eleven percent of the entrepreneurs said that they plan to add “green jobs” in the year 2010, the same amount as last year. “Green jobs” are the positions that implement environmental awareness in the design, policy, and technology companies to improve the conservation and continuation.
9. Bilingual recruitment. The businessman has been observed to have a different work unit as a measure of success as they begin to rebuild their businesses after the economic ups and downs. One area they plan to focus on is building a bilingual team. Nearly 39 percent said they planned to hire bilingual candidates in the year 2010 and half said that if they have the same two candidates, they would prefer to hire bilingual candidates.
10. Business trip. As entrepreneurs measure of the cost of suspension and more to the growth, one area they were planning to save money is on a business trip. Forty-three percent of the entrepreneurs said that the organization they would have fewer business trips this year compared to 2010 in the year 2009.
